Answer: The method of asexual reproduction in which numerous plants are produced from vegetative parts of plant, i.e. root, stem or leaf artificially is called artificial vegetative propagation.

19) What is tip layering?
Answer: Tip layering is the layering in which the tip of plant is bent and buried in the soil to grow roots.

20) What is grafting?
Answer: The process of getting new plant by combining shoot system of one plant on the root system of closely related plant is called grafting.

21) What is tissue culture?
Answer: The scientific method of getting new plant from cell, tissue or organ of a parent plant keeping them in a culture solution is called tissue culture.
